We have theaters here but I really dislike going, save taking the grands to see OotP over the summer! I prefer watching at home, especially with the boys piled into my bed; the 5-y/o loves to ask many questions & I hate to disturb theater-goers experiences.

Again, thanks for all, for making me feel welcome. All from trying to find one song, I find Beecake, here & so many wonderful new things!

Oh yes, Sally! I certainly don't mind watching movies in the comfort of my home either although that DOES mean WAITING awhile for the movie to be released on DVD or Pay Per Vu. And I most certainly understand about your 5 year old grandson for sure. For us, it's a rare treat to take in a movie at theatre. My girls a little bit older so of course we don't have that problem anymore. All of us have seen Narnia and Happy Feet in the theatre where as my husband has taken my oldest daughter to Harry Potter and COS and then again last summer to OoTP. Plus my oldest daughter went to HP--GOF for a birthday party when it was released.

Glad you are finding your way around to our many different threads! That's what makes The BBB so much fun and interactive I think!

Thanks so much for the welcome!! I rarely, if ever, go to the movies, waiting instead to buy the dvds & watch them at home. I'm slowly getting the hang of things & appreciate so much the patience of all. Reading your posts let me know what movies to hunt out on Amazon!

Again, thanks for making room for an old fart....

Hey Sally! No problem! Glad to have you aboard! I/We rarely go to movies either because we live in a small town that has no movie theatre....the closest ones are in small towns 20 minutes (one direction) and 30 minutes (the opposite direction) and they are just small town theatres with only one movie at a time playing. So we just wait for movies to come out on DVD or Pay Per Vu as well.
Look forward to seeing more of you! I am sure that you will catch on in no time! image
